One shared care circle for your family: medication logs, appointments, visits, handover notes and essential documents — so everyone knows what happened and what comes next. The organiser subscribes; invited relatives join free with their Apple ID. No CareKnit account, no developer server.

CareKnit records and coordinates. It does not diagnose, interpret symptoms, check doses, or replace professional care.

Medications with multiple daily times & weekday patterns, refill tracking, archive (never silent delete), essential details with allergies first, and a document checklist for LPA, care plans and GP proxies.

📅 Calendar

Agenda + month views, assignment (“I’ll take this”), preparation & outcome notes, quick visits that convert from planned to completed without duplicates. Optional explicit Add to Calendar.

👨‍👩‍👧 Circle

Invite up to 4 relatives through Apple’s sharing sheet, manage sharing, see sync status (“Up to date / Waiting to sync / Offline”), export PDF/CSV, back up weekly to iCloud Drive, and leave / archive / delete with dignity.

🔒 Private by design

No developer backend, no accounts, no analytics or ad SDKs, no tracking. Data lives on your devices and in your own iCloud (CloudKit). Optional Face ID lock; redacted diagnostics you review before sharing.

🔔 Gentle reminders

Local medication & appointment reminders you opt into, quiet hours (default 21:00–08:00), and neutral shared-update notes. Scheduled prompts say “reminder”, never “alert”; overdue items say “Not recorded”, never auto-“missed”.

  • Group: CareKnit Circle — Annual (best value) + Monthly options
  • 14-day introductory trial (Apple eligibility applies; price, trial and renewal terms are shown in-app from the App Store — never hard-coded)
  • Payment charged to your Apple ID at confirmation; renews automatically unless cancelled ≥24h before period end
  • Manage / cancel in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or via the in-app “Manage Subscription” link
  • Restore Purchases supported; “Awaiting approval” state for Ask to Buy
  • If the subscription ends: everyone keeps read, search, download & export; only new shared writes pause until renewal

🔍 For App Store Review

  1. No login required. There is no developer account — tap Create a care circle on first launch. No demo credentials needed.
  2. To test family sharing: Circle → Invite family opens Apple’s UICloudSharingController; accept the invite on a second device signed into a different Apple ID (iCloud required). Members enter a display name; no purchase screen appears while the organiser lease is valid.
  3. Subscriptions: sandbox / StoreKit configuration (careknit.yearly, careknit.monthly, group 22406830) with 14-day trial; paywall shows StoreKit prices, Restore, Manage, Privacy & Terms links and a Close option.
  4. Permissions: camera only when scanning a document / adding a photo; notifications only after enabling a real reminder; no location, contacts, HealthKit or tracking.
  5. Safety: full medical disclaimer in onboarding, About, exports and above; medication editor notes “records supplied instructions only — does not check medicines, doses or interactions”.
  6. Privacy: no third-party network traffic; CloudKit private/shared DB only; public DB unused; share public permission .none; manifest declares no tracking / no collected data types.
