This respects your privacy. The app works fully offline and does not collect, track, or transmit any personal data. There is no account, no cloud sync, no analytics, and no advertising. Your moments stay on your iPhone and nowhere else.
1. Data Collection
This does not collect any personal information. We do not track users, create user profiles, gather analytics, or use any third-party SDKs that collect data.
2. Local Data Storage
Everything you keep in This — words, moments, and photos — is stored locally on your device only, using on-device storage. Nothing is uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third party.
Photos you attach are shrunk on your device before they are kept, so the stored data stays small. The original full-resolution photo in your photo library is never modified, copied elsewhere, or transmitted.
3. Photo Library Access
If you choose to attach a photo to a moment, the app reads only the single photo you explicitly select. Photo access is used solely to attach that image to your moment on your device. Selected photos never leave your device.
4. No Third-Party Sharing
This does not share any data with third parties, because no data is collected or transmitted in the first place.
5. No Accounts, No Analytics, No Ads
This has no sign-in, no social features, no usage tracking, and no advertisements. There is nothing to opt out of because nothing is gathered.
6. Data Control
You fully control your moments. You can release (delete) any single moment inside the app, and deleting the app permanently removes all stored moments from your device.
7. Children's Privacy
This does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children. Since no data is collected, no personal information from children is stored or shared.
8. Changes to This Policy
